New 10 Meter Training Net 8 PM MON 28.460 USB NON-AMATEURS CHECK IN AT : www.wx3i.net at 7:30 PM Mon Nights
Severe Weather Training Nets are held Monday evenings at 7:30 PM on 2 meters simplex 147.42 Mhz and at 8:00 PM on 10 meters 28.460 Mhz USB.
WATCHES AND WARNINGS OPERATIONS GUIDANCE:
When Forecasted or Un-Forecasted Severe Weather is occurring, and/or NWS Watches and Warnings are issued, it would be appropriate for Spotters to Monitor Cape May Co. SKYWARN AMATEUR RADIO FREQUENCIES: 147.420 Primary Simplex 147.535 Secondary.
STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO ALL HAZARDS, OR YOUR LOCAL MEDIA OUTLETS, FOR THE LATEST UPDATES.

Please report power outages, structure damage, road and bridge closures, 911 system and telephone outages to your Skywarn Coordinator with your severe weather observations.
Reportable Severe Weather Parameters
* Tornadoes * Funnel Clouds * Wall Clouds * Winds in excess of 58 MPH * Hail of any size * Rain in excess of 1 inch per hour * Flooding * Coastal Flooding (particularly if no watch or warning in effect) * Snow in excess of 4" in PA and N. Northern NJ, 3" in Southern NJ and 2" on Del Marva * Any ice accumulation * Tsunami
Note: Lightning is not a reportable severe weather parameter. But if it strikes a person or structures report immediately. If you are not sure please ask.
